Position Summary:
As a Cashier at Walmart Canada, your primary role is to process transactions efficiently while providing exceptional customer service. You will ensure a positive shopping experience for customers and contribute to building customer loyalty.

Responsibilities:

Greet customers politely and warmly.
Process purchase transactions quickly and efficiently, including deactivation of merchandise for the EAS Program.
Promote Walmart’s sponsor programs, including credit card services, product protection, and charity initiatives.
Assist customers with bagging and loading merchandise.
Adhere to safe work practices, including proper lifting techniques and maintaining a clean workspace.
Maintain cash register security and integrity by following cash handling policies.
Refer service or transactional concerns to a Customer Service Manager when necessary.
Qualifications:

Minimum age: 16 years or older.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience in retail or cashiering is an asset but not required.
