Company Introduction: T&T Supermarket Inc. was founded in 1993 with two stores in BC. Since then, it has expanded rapidly and is now Canada’s largest Asian supermarket chain with 31 stores across the country: 13 in BC, 7 in Alberta, 10 in Ontario, and 1 in Quebec. The Company’s continuous expansion is going to bring more new stores in the next couple of years.
The Role: Reporting to the Warehouse & Distribution Supervisor (Assembly), the Picker is responsible to pick, assemble, and pack products according to orders received. The position also needs to transport products to the delivery platforms by using Fork Lift or Pallet Jack, ensuring products can be delivered to customers timely and safely.
Major Responsibilities:
Pick and assemble products based on assigned orders; ensure the correct quantity and types of products are picked and loaded
Pack products and ensure shipments are accurate and free from damages
Sort and organize products so that they can be easily located
Transport products to delivery platforms in a manner that meets company safety and productivity standards
Assist to maintain security of the warehouse buildings and stocks
Use equipment and working tools properly and safely
Assist to keep warehouse areas organized, clean, unblocked, and safe
Other Responsibilities:
Perform any other duties as assigned by the superior

Good attendance record, comply with company’s rules and regulations
Knowledge, Skills, and Ability Requirements:
Accurate and meticulous, able to apply common sense to solve problems
Flexible to work in shifts, including weekdays, weekends, evening hours, and statutory holidays
Prepared to stand for long periods and handle lifting products of 50 pounds regularly
Able to follow and respond to written and verbal instructions promptly and correctly
Possess valid Fork Lift or Pallet Jack license
Willing to work in low temperature environments (0-4 ℃) and freezing environments (-18 ℃)
Good understanding of tools & equipment relevant to the job and interpreting labels of merchandise
Able to communicate in English and Chinese (Cantonese &/or Mandarin) an asset
Knowledge of workplace health & safety
Relevant experience with warehouse preferred
